His New Book Provides a Detailed Guide of the Facts and Events of Easter

RIVERSIDE, CA (ANS) -- Southern California pastor, evangelist and media contributor, Greg Laurie, is now on the “Road to the Resurrection.”
Harvest Ministries, the eight-time award winning producers of the film, “Lost Boy: The Next Chapter,” is releasing this new book from Laurie, who is the author of over 40 books.
In “The Road to the Resurrection,” which comes out on April 1, 2011, Laurie, who has a worldwide ministry, has written a book designed to broaden the reader’s understanding of the sacrifice of Christ, deepen the Easter experience, draw the reader closer to the risen Jesus, and prompt them to worship.
“In Mark chapter fourteen, while others failed to understand the meaning of Christ’s words, a woman with an expensive alabaster jar of perfume was listening,” said Gary Zelasko, Director, Harvest Resources. “She allowed His words to penetrate her mind and to break her heart. That broken heart led to a broken jar, and the fragrance of her worship filled the house.
“That is what Easter is about -- the love of God; a love that endured pain, ridicule, anguish and death for the sake of all of us. And what should our response be? Worship; pure and unadulterated worship.”
Zelasko also told the ASSIST News Service that “Road to the Resurrection” provides a "guidebook" to the facts and circumstances surrounding the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ.
“The reader will examine the people, places, and timeline of that first Easter. But more than that, the reader will delve into the prophecies of those events, given hundreds of years prior, as well what happened after Christ rose from the dead,” he added.
Gary Zelasko has now revealed that they have already secured distribution through the following relationships:
* Christianaudio is creating an audiobook version of “Road to the Resurrection,” to be released during Passion Week. Upon its release, the audiobook will be a featured product on Christianaudio’s site (http://christianaudio.com).
* WorldNetDaily (www.wnd.com) is pre-selling the book now in their store at: http://superstore.wnd.com/books/greg-laurie/Road-to-the-Resurrection-Explore-and-Share-the-Miracle-of-Easter-Paperback. In addition, they are featuring "Road to the Resurrection" on their superstore homepage: http://superstore.wnd.com/books
* Harvest Ministries has entered into an agreement with a major book distributor, Midpoint Trade Books (www.midpointtradebooks.com) , to provide national distribution and availability of the book to complement Harvest’s own efforts.
"Midpoint Trade Books is a well-established company that works directly with independent publishers and has a strong reputation for the best in sales and service," said Zelasko.
Some testimonials from several of Greg’s prior books:
“An amazing book of encouragement and hope written by one who has suffered great loss...,” said one reader.
Another added, “This is a very heartfelt and inspiring book! An easy read and, like all of Greg Laurie's books, it was a very hard one to put down...”
Laurie's close friend, Franklin Graham, son of evangelist Billy Graham, said, “‘Lost Boy’ will touch your heart in a profound way.”
And best-selling author, Max Lucado, said, “I love Greg Laurie’s story so much. His own personal story is a stunning reminder of why our Savior came.”
